Bklink: Skinhead Menace on Slope’s Seventh Avenue?

November 17th, 2008 · 5 Comments

link-asterisk.jpg“Just walked home from the train around 11:30 and saw a group of two or three older looking Skinheads hanging out with some of the younger punk kids from the neighborhood on 7th Ave and 15th. Couldn’t tell if they were the racist kind but I’ve never seen them around here before so I didn’t stick around to find out. People please be aware.”–Brookynian

See, Paul Weller solved this problem in England a long time ago. Did they look anything like this?

Perhaps the eighties are just reaching this pack of kids. Like in Prague, you would think it wa 1982! with all the mohawks and safety pins on leather jackets. everything old is new again.

Does it really matter ? There has been a sizeable amount of non-racist skinheads for a long time in the new york city area.
