‘colonize the slope’ means re-instituting blunts, 40s, swearing, smoking, and other such born new york rights that i’ve been scolded for by strangers when i wander too far down union ave. just because it’s a family neighborhood doesn’t mean we should forgo the little things that make ours the greatest city in the world.

reads more like “c’mon everybody, let’s kick out the rest of these native puerto rican residents”. you may want to look into the history of colonization.
