Development Notebook: Slope’s Church Condos Coming Along

July 25th, 2008 · No Comments

For a long time the site where these condos are rising at the corner of Eighth Avenue and Tenth Street in Park Slope was a garden with big trees. No longer. The Church of Gethsemane sold the property to a developer and a lot of work has been done to turn the garden into a building. When it’s done, it will have 10 condos including three townhomes. (There is also a local rumor of a bank branch as ground floor retail.) The sign outside says that completion is expected by May 15 of next year. God willing, of course.
