Union Hall won its fight for its liquor license last night when Community Board 6 resoundingly voted to support its application to the State Liquor Authority. Last week a committee had voted against the license. The meeting at Borough Hall was angry and emotional at times. Union Hall says it will have monthly meetings with residents and probably close earlier on weekdays.–Gothamist
