There was a mock “funeral” yesterday for the M & R trains, which face nighmarish cuts. It happened in the Court Street subway station. Given that service on the M & R is already befitting a Stephen King novel, the cuts would turn it into a Wes Craven film. Well my commute is about to get a bit more hellish. The M currently picks me up at the top of my street and unloads me about 20 ft from the front door of my job. It’s also rarely crowded in that “why do I do this everyday” way.
