A Whole Lot of Paving Going On

As we’ve already noted there is a lot of paving going on all over South Brooklyn. This example on an Ocean Parkway overpass was captured by Gary Mirabelle. Us, we can verify that the DOT crews start work at 5:45AM when they’re paving streets and that the vibration and sound is like nothing that anyone has ever heard. We’re talking things about to fall off the wall.

I have to say that the crews doing the paving have been pretty speedy in paving my street here on Carroll. I do have to question though about their choice of streets to pave. It has only been nine years since they paved this street and if the city is in such a financial crisis then why not pave another street that really needs it and save a little money on the ones that don’t. Just a thought.
