Maybe it’s related to fuel costs, but the price of the lunch special at this place on Third Avenue at Ninth Street has gone up from $3.95 to $4.50. Or, is it $5.00? Oh well. In any case, the photo comes courtesy of Heather-D and our GL Flickr Pool.

that place has great food for $5! nice people too. very old school place with a community of regulars. you won’t leave hungry.

Sonia’s! Oh how I miss thee…The price tag was changed from $3.95 to $4.50 about two years ago on that sign. The $5 price is a more recent change, though. Glad to see they’re milking their signage for all it’s worth.
