Olafur Eliasson’s waterfalls were turned on early this morning. Here are some views of the one under the Brooklyn Bridge, which we checked out from Fulton Ferry Landing.

    I don’t understand why you would nestle something so large underneath a structure that dwarfs it, robbing it of so much impact? Still a nice idea.

    When the project is over they should move one to Coney and have beer come through it.

    Mmmm. Smell that river water and get sprayed with river mist. Cool, but, I don’t get it. Shudda had it in the Gowanus! Mmm.
