We posted about the Saturday block party on Dean Street yesterday, but can’t resist this photo put in our GL Photo Pool by Tracy Collins that shows construction work on Dean Street plus a flier for the block party. Most of the buildings on the left are slated to come down for the Atlantic Yards development.

Those 3 rowhouses are circa 1865, early Italianate style. What a shame to lose them. Anywhere else they would be considered treasures.

slated to come down. they won’t as 3 of 4 are occupied and Ratner can’t get them out.

Ratner lost most of his financing and he is totally screwing the public on this one. He is a criminal. He needs to go to Jersey to be with his team and leave Brooklyn alone.
