Smith Street Storefront

Our friends at Racked have solved a Smith Street retail mystery. A reader wrote to ask what this storefront would be and Racked writes that “Neighborhood sources tell us that it will be a men’s and women’s clothing boutique named Epaulette (or Epellete, the exact name is still unclear) moving into the former Ohio Knitting Mills storefront.” Opening…let’s see…May 8.

Thank god. I was worried it was going to be, by the looks of that palm tree, a tanning salon. But, does Smith really need another silly boutique selling faux fashion? An “epaulette” is a military shoulder decoration or a chess move. Either way. dumb. I hate smith street.

I’m happy whenever a new business is not a restaurant or bar.
Doesn’t matter if they sell stuff I’ll ever be interested in.
