Seaside Summer Concert Series Schedule

The schedule for the Seaside Summer Concert Series in Asser Levy Park in Coney Island/Brighton Beach is posted online. The B-52s are playing on August 9. (Last year we didn’t go because a monster thunderstorm was about to happen and this year we’ll be out of town.) The shows start at 7:30. They rent chairs for $5.00 at the July shows, but for $10.00 at all the August shows. The performances take place at Asser Levy/Seaside Park, which is at West 5th Street and Surf Avenue in Coney Island/Brighton Beach, across the street from the New York Aquarium. Shows are free.

    Oh why oh why must I miss the B-52’s?! What a dream concert. B-52’s by the sea… and I will be out of the country.

    Last year, it rained on the night the B-52’s performed. i’d say a good 7/8ths of the crowd left, but for those who stayed, including myself, man, did that show kick almighty ass.

    Mystery night heart and soul….

    it just so happens Al Green will be in RHode Island on the 12th on his tour… and then doesnt go back to tour until the 26th in Texas.

    Can you say repeat performace children?

    Does anyone remember the name of the group who performed after the B52s this past season?? Please let me know.
